SPF promotes equity for all women and girls and lifelong education. It thus wants to establish the Guru Inderdin Sukhi Parivar Women’s University to advance education, research, and self-development for women and to foster equity and positive societal change.

GISPWU will provide the highest quality of education and training for its students. Thus trained, they will eventually be able to compete, survive, and flourish in a more equitable world in which women's values and achievements truly matter. GISPWU will have three very specific priorities: to foster competent women especially from the disadvantaged groups to meet academic and professional qualifications in the future; to support and concentrate on technological and academic research; and to contribute to the international community through women's education.

GISPWU will dedicate itself to producing wise and well-balanced intellectuals by reconciling tradition and the modern, the Indian and the global, and academic ideals and reality. GISPWU will awaken women's consciousness to stand proudly as the subject of history. Through pioneering education with an eye on the future, it will encourage women especially from the disadvantaged groups to complete their education and become truly upstanding citizens of the world with multicultural sensitivity and global competence with humane character.
